About Me

Biography
I was born and raised in the suburbs of Paris, where I took theater classes as a teenager. Theater entered my heart and has never left.
Today, I have been living in Canada for over 10 years. I speak French, English, and Japanese.
My first name comes from the Latin word "Aurum," which means "gold." In the periodic table, the symbol for gold is AU 79. Also, my father's family is from Cape Coast, Ghana, which was previously called the "Gold Coast" by the British. My middle name is Nana, which also reads like the number 7 in Japanese. This is why my acting name is Aurena Rɛ (pronounced "Ray"), or 79. You can pronounce this nickname in any language you like :)
I am a member of the Winnipeg Actors Academy and have completed the Actor's Pathway program. With a versatile vocal range, I specialize in creating voices for children, teens, middle-aged, and older women. Whether it's animated series, e-learning content, or breaking news broadcasts on radio, I bring character, warmth, and authenticity to every project. From dynamic, youthful energy to calm, mature tones, my voice adapts to your needs, making each recording personal and impactful.
